School were I will be doing Teaching Practice

Hi all!

     Let me start by saying that I believe that teaching is the noblest professor all over the world. Suffice it to say that only education can save societies and individuals from possible collapse, be it violent or gradual. Of course, education is costly, but it is far less costly than its alternative, ignorance.

  School is where the Children's learning process is instrumental shaping their personality and the way they deal with their life. And this School is an incredible place where the students' Mental aspect, Physical aspect, Social aspect and Overall development is focused upon.

Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS),Kanyakulangara 

    Today you will be knowing about the School in which I am practicing Teaching. Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kanyakulangara (GGHSS). The School is located in  Thiruvananthapuram Kaniyapuram Pirappencode-Manikal and is one of the popular schools in India. This School is counted among the top-rated Schools in Kerala with an excellent academic track record.

     It was Founded in 1984, and is maintained by Department of Education, Kerala. School management constantly improvise themselves to give the best education to the Kids.  This is an Upper Primary School with 220 instructional days and 6 student hours in School. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) curriculum is followed. The midday meal is prepared  and provided in School premises. 

      The classrooms are well-equipped with laptops, multimedia projectors, whiteboards and sound systems, and hooked through high-speed Internet to a central server that hosts educational content. Computer labs of these schools will be provided with LCD TVs, HD cameras, multi-function printers and UPS. School also has a library with good collection of books for teachers and students.
    The School has participated in the Student Empowerment and Environmental Development (SEED) which aims to create awareness among the growing student community on environment protection and enable them to protect the water, air and soil. The project which aims to pave way for a new green culture by assembling high schools, higher secondary schools and upper primary schools in the state.

    

     My teaching experience so far has been incredible and I think I learned as much from this School as the students did. The teacher from this School who assigns me classes are very helpful and are guiding me to develop new management skills. I am trying consistently, how to represent, interpret, summarize and rethink about the whole concept I wish to teach or rather inspire my students in a specific period of time assigned to me.
